When local Columbia, South Carolina baristas decided to open up a new pop-up coffee shop, they knew they needed elevated commercial photography to help spread the word! Roger and Kailey of Godspeed started the search for a Columbia, South Carolina food photographer and I was the lucky lady chosen for the job! We’re so happy with how their images turned out, ready to take a peak at their menu and coffee photography?
The Headshots
Before we started slingin’ coffee and getting dirty, it just made sense to capture Kailey and Roger’s headshots. These two seasoned baristas are familiar to many locals after years of working at Drip Coffee in Five Points of Columbia. Now that they are the new faces of Godspeed, it was necessary to let Columbia, SC know that they were still here to offer classic lattes with some headshots. Thanks to 701 Whaley, we had a gorgeous space to capture them, too!

It was time to get to action! In order to get final product photos of Godspeed’s menu, we had to get messy and start pulling out ingredients. While Godspeed offers classic lattes and coffee beverages, they also offer upscale and creative caffeinated drinks.
The Menu Photos
And this is why I love being a food photographer, specifically a coffee photographer! Not only do I get to capture crispy images, I get to work with local creatives who have truly perfected their craft! Roger and Kailey have perfected their craft so much that the Free Times were proud to get the word out on the town about their savory sips! You’ll notice in their final photos the importance of props in their photography. We highlighted each unique beverage with the ingredients that helped shape them.
