Jess and Eloise have been in front of my lens since Eloise’s first birthday in 2021 and it’s been such a joy for them to return year after year. Capturing Eloise grow through each phase of her baby life has been quite adorable. I’ve loved capturing Jess and Eloise’s bond throughout the years so it was a pleasure to capture their mommy and daughter photography in Columbia, South Carolina again this year. Mommy And Daughter Portraits

As a Columbia, South Carolina family photographer, I was thrilled to see that Jess booked 701 Whaley as her venue to capture these portraits in. 701 is famous in Columbia for their open ball rooms and their large windows that let in that gorgeous sunlight. For Jess and Eloise’s mommy and daughter photography at 701 Whaley, we decided that we would embrace all the toddler movements and emotions. It’s just the natural actions for your little one at this age and we made sure that these moments would never be forgotten.

Can Eloise sit still?

After running around for the first part of their session we tried to get a couple mother and daughter photos with Eloise sitting still. Here is how they turned out ( LOL ).

Eloise just zipped away! Her current favorite activity is running and eating pizza with her mom and dad. She loves making silly faces and loves picking out her dirty green shoes to wear after her mommy curates her perfect outfit.

Life Moves Fast

Despite being unable to sit still and making silly faces, we captured what Jess loved most. In her own words, she says “In most of these photos, Eloise is trying to run away or blurry because she wasn’t listening. Because that’s how it is. Life is crazy. It moves fast. And all of that makes me realize just how freakin beautiful it all is.”
